- Climbing from side control
- Advancing after the opponent frames poorly
Common mistakes
- Sitting too high without control
- Overcommitting arms and getting bridged
- Attacking before stabilizing the position
Gi / No-Gi: Mount is powerful in both formats, but maintaining sticky control is even more important in no-gi where friction is lower.
