A sneaky choke using the sleeve or fist inside the collar from top positions.
The Ezekiel choke (sode guruma jime) threads one hand inside your own sleeve (gi) or makes a fist (no-gi) and drives it across the opponent's throat while the other arm wraps behind their head. It can be applied from mount, inside guard, and even from bottom — which makes it uniquely deceptive. Named after the judoka Ezequiel Rodrigues, it's a favorite of top-pressure players who use it to surprise opponents from positions they feel safe in.
