A classic gi choke using both hands in the opponent's collar from mount or guard.
The cross collar choke inserts both hands deep into the opponent's collar with crossed grips, then expands your elbows outward and drives your wrists into the carotid arteries. It can be applied from closed guard (palm-up, palm-down) or from mount. Roger Gracie famously used the mounted cross choke to submit world-class black belts repeatedly. It is deceptively simple but requires precise grip depth and timing to finish.
