A quick collar choke that catches opponents during guard passes.
The loop choke uses a cross-collar grip that circles around the opponent's neck as they attempt to pass your guard or drive into you. By cupping the back of their head with your free hand and closing the loop, you create a tight blood choke. It's a counter-attacking technique that punishes sloppy passing and forward pressure. The loop choke is lightning fast when timed correctly and is a signature move of several world champions.
