A powerful pass pinning the opponent's leg across their body to expose the back.
The leg drag pins one of your opponent's legs across their body to the mat, putting you in a dominant angle between side control and back mount. You control their far hip and use your bodyweight to flatten them. The leg drag is one of the most dominant passing positions because the opponent is turned away from you with limited defensive options. It naturally leads to back takes and is a favorite of elite competitors like Leandro Lo and the Ruotolo brothers.
